Data Edge brings together everything a serious sports bettor needs — live scores across Football, NBA, MLB, Tennis, and E-sports; real-time odds comparison from multiple bookmakers; AI-powered value signals; expert tips with verified track records; and curated sports news. One product, one place, one unfair advantage.
The design challenge was significant: sports betting data is inherently dense. Match stats, odds tables, bookmaker comparisons, live updates, expert analysis — all of it matters, all at once. Our job was to make that density readable at a glance, navigable with one thumb, and fast enough to actually be useful in the seconds before odds shift.

Bettors who actually do their research — who look for value, track expert tips, and monitor live data — are being failed by the tools available to them. Everything is scattered. By the time you've found the edge, it's already closed.

The match detail screen is where Data Edge earns its name. A live odds comparison table shows every bookmaker's lines side-by-side. The best available odds are highlighted in yellow. A value signal percentage tells you immediately whether a line is worth acting on — before the window closes.

Anyone can claim to have a winning streak. The Analysis & Tips screen was designed around a single idea: transparency earns trust. Each expert tip surfaces its reasoning, confidence level, and history — not to boast about numbers, but to give users the context they need to make their own informed call.
Purpose
Reduce noise, not add to it
The goal wasn't to surface more tips — it was to surface fewer, better ones. Every design choice in this screen is about helping users filter signal from noise, not overwhelming them with options.
Transparency
Show the reasoning, not just the pick
Confidence levels, sport category, and tip status are always visible. Users can see not just what an expert recommends, but how certain they are and whether past tips have played out — so trust is earned, not assumed.
Control
Filter by sport, status, and outcome
Users can slice tips by sport, filter by pending or settled, and sort by confidence. The screen puts them in control of how they engage — whether they're casually browsing or deeply researching before a match.
Stay Informed
The news section aggregates stories from ESPN, BBC Sport, Sky Sports, and The Athletic — curated by sport and surfaced in a clean, fast-loading feed. Injury news, form guides, and pre-match analysis can shift the value of a line significantly. Data Edge keeps you ahead of it.

High-info screens that stay readable at a glance. Dark mode reduces eye strain during evening matches. Yellow highlights only what matters — the best odds, the highest confidence, the live edge.
